Applications Now Open for Business Grants

Each year the Chamber sponsors a range of events and activities to the value of approximately $20,000. We are now announcing our small business grants program for 2016. Grants up to $2,000 will be made available to assist businesses to start up or extend their range of services and activities. An information sheet can be downloaded here. Applications close at 5pm on Wednesday 14 September 2016 and successful applicants will be announced at the Apollo Bay Chamber of Commerce Inc. Annual General Meeting to be held at 7:30pm on the 28th of September at Captains at the Bay.

 

FAQs

Is there an application form?

There is no application form. Please submit a letter outlining the activity you wish to undertake. You should give some context to your current business activities, what you identify as an activity that will improve your business and how you plan to go about it.

Should I include a budget?

You must submit a budget that includes the requested grant as income as well as the expenditure of this grant. Other income and expenses should be included if relevant to the activity. Make sure your budget balances.

Do I include quotes for services and products?

If you are able to include a quote or quotes for the products or services for which you are applying, this will strengthen your application.
